• Address and unit number for rent credit enrollment

• Vehicle information (year, make, model) for wallet share calculations

• Payment method connections via Stripe Financial Connections (optional)
• Wishlist items: URLs and product pages you save
• Style preferences and product interests you select
• Communications you send us

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, time spent in app
• Transaction data: purchases made at enrolled merchants attributed to your account
• Location data: approximate location for merchant directory (not precise GPS tracking)
• Push notification interaction data

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Merchant transaction data: when you make a purchase at an enrolled merchant, we receive transaction amount and merchant details via our attribution system
• Landlord data: building address, unit count, and enrollment status provided by your landlord
• Public records: we may cross-reference publicly available property records to verify building enrollment

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 To Provide the Platform

• Calculate and display your rent credit balance
• Process and apply rent credits to your account
• Show you relevant local merchants and offers
• Match your wishlist items and style preferences to merchant inventory
• Send notifications about credit earnings, new offers, and matched products (with your consent)
• Process landlord commission payments

2.2 Platform Improvement

• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Develop new features and services
• Conduct research and analytics
• Debug and fix technical issues

2.3 Communications

• Send transactional SMS messages about your account (with your consent)
• Send marketing communications about new merchants and offers (opt-out available at any time)
• Respond to your questions and support requests

2.4 Safety and Legal Compliance

• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Enforce our Terms of Service
• Protect the rights and safety of our users

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Enrolled Merchants

Merchants enrolled in nAIghborly receive only:

• A count of nAIghborly users who have saved items from their store — no names, no contact information, no purchase details
• Aggregate campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, attributed sales totals)
• Commission reports showing total verified sales amounts

Merchants never receive individual tenant names, contact information, phone numbers, email addresses, or wishlist item details.

3.2 With Your Landlord

Your landlord receives:

• Confirmation that your unit is enrolled in nAIghborly
• Aggregate commission earnings for their enrolled building
• Monthly dashboard reports showing building-level enrollment and credit activity

Your landlord does not receive your individual purchase history, credit balance, wishlist, or personal communications.

3.3 With Service Providers

• Twilio: SMS and communication delivery
• Stripe: payment processing and financial connections
• Vercel / Railway: cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Anthropic: AI-powered features (anonymized or aggregated data only)

All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of nAIghborly, our users, or the public.

3.5 Business Transfers

If nAIghborly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

• Account information: retained while your account is active and for 2 years after closure
• Transaction and credit history: retained for 7 years for financial record-keeping
• Wishlist items: retained until you delete them or close your account
• SMS opt-in records: retained for 4 years to comply with TCPA requirements
• Usage and analytics data: retained for 2 years in identifiable form, then aggregated

You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@naighborly.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Your Privacy Rights

5.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

• Right to Know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
• Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: we do not sell personal information, so this right is not applicable
• Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
• Right to Limit Sensitive Data Use: you may limit our use of sensitive personal information

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@naighborly.com or through the Settings section of the app. We will respond within 45 days.

5.2 All Users

• Access and portability: request a copy of your personal information
• Correction: update inaccurate information through your account settings
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt-out of marketing SMS: reply STOP to any marketing message or toggle off in Settings
• Opt-out of push notifications: toggle off in app Settings or device settings

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in during onboarding, you consent to receive SMS messages from nAIghborly including:

• Transactional messages: rent credit notifications, offer alerts, account updates
• Marketing messages: new merchant announcements, Collab campaign offers (opt-in required)

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. To opt out of marketing SMS at any time, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. Our SMS program is registered under A2P 10DLC with all major US carriers.

7. Data Security

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmission
• Encrypted storage for sensitive account credentials
• JWT-based authentication with secure token storage
• Regular security reviews and access controls
• No storage of full payment card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe)

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable means.

8. Children's Privacy

nAIghborly is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete that information promptly. Contact us at privacy@naighborly.com if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party merchant websites accessed through our in-app browser feature. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. nAIghborly is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party merchants.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated policy at naighborly.com/privacy with a new effective date
• Sending you an in-app notification
• Sending an email to the address associated with your account for significant changes

Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
