Credits reduce your rent
Your accumulated credits are applied to your monthly rent before the first of each month. Your landlord receives a report confirming the amount.
How much do I earn per purchase?
You earn 2.5% of your verified purchase as a rent credit. On a $60 dinner that's $1.50. On a $200 wine purchase that's $5.00. Credits accumulate across all enrolled merchants and are applied to your rent monthly.
Does my landlord need to be enrolled for this to work?
Yes — your building needs to be enrolled in nAIghborly for credits to apply to your rent. If your landlord isn't enrolled yet, you can still earn credits and they will be held until enrollment is confirmed. You can invite your landlord directly from the app.
How does nAIghborly verify my purchases?
nAIghborly uses a privacy-preserving attribution system. When you make a purchase at an enrolled merchant, your contact information is matched against the merchant's transaction records using a one-way cryptographic fingerprint. No raw personal data is ever shared with merchants.
When do credits post to my account?
Credits typically post within 24–48 hours of a verified purchase. Monthly totals are calculated and applied to your rent balance on the 25th of each month.
What merchants are enrolled?
Browse the directory tab in the app to see all enrolled merchants near you. Enrolled merchants are marked with a ✓ badge. We add new merchants regularly — check back often.
Is nAIghborly free to use?
Yes — completely free for tenants. There are no subscription fees, no sign-up fees, and no hidden charges. Credits are funded by merchant commissions, not by you.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Pending rent credits will be forfeited upon deletion.
Can I use nAIghborly if I rent from a large property management company?
Yes — nAIghborly works with individual landlords and property management companies of any size. If your building isn't enrolled, contact your property manager and share our landlord information at naighborly.com.
What does enrollment cost?
Nothing. Enrollment in nAIghborly is free for landlords. You receive a 2.5% commission on every verified sale made by an enrolled tenant at a participating merchant, paid monthly.
What do I need to do after signing the Letter of Intent?
Send the tenant signup link (provided by nAIghborly) to all tenants in enrolled buildings. That's it. We handle attribution, credit calculation, reporting, and everything else automatically.
How do I see my commission earnings?
Log in to your landlord dashboard at naighborly.com/dashboard/landlord. You'll see a monthly report for each enrolled building showing tenant enrollment count, verified sales, and commission earned.
Can I enroll multiple buildings?
Yes — you can enroll as many buildings as you own or manage. Each building is tracked separately in your dashboard with its own enrollment stats and commission report.
How do I exit the program?
Either party may exit with 30 days written notice. Contact joe@naighborly.com to begin the offboarding process. Pending commissions will be paid through the exit date.
How does merchant enrollment work?
Download the nAIghborly merchant tool, complete the onboarding flow, and export your customer and transaction records from your POS system. We handle the rest. Contact joe@naighborly.com to get started.
Which POS systems do you support?
We currently support Square, Toast, and Clover with step-by-step export guides built into the merchant tool. If you use a different system, contact us — if it exports a customer CSV and a transaction CSV, we can work with it.
What commission rate do merchants pay?
10% on verified attributed sales. This is performance-based — you only pay on sales we can verify were influenced by nAIghborly. No upfront fees, no monthly subscription, no minimums.
Can I see which customers are nAIghborly members?
No — individual tenant identities are never shared with merchants. You see aggregate performance data: total attributed sales, commission totals, and a count of nAIghborly members who have saved items from your store. This protects tenant privacy and is a core platform principle.
